State of the Simon and Mulder Labs!
In 2025, the Simon and Mulder Labs continued to grow and accomplished a great deal in the battle against infectious diseases. Below, please find a summary of some of our most notable achievements!
Welcomed three new Associate Researchers: Carter Williams, Andy Boylan, and Max VanDyck
Lotte Kearns became a PhD candidate!
Lab alumni Susanna Scaglioni and Lisa Neureuter successfully defended their PhD and Master’s thesis dissertations, respectively!
Hala Alshammary successfully defended her PhD thesis at Ulm University in Germany!
Dr. Simon made her Broadway debut and received the Jacobi Medallion, Mount Sinai’s highest honor, for her contributions to the institution and research!
